Offizielle Einführung! / Official Induction!

Gestern wurde der neue Bischof unserer Partnerkirche offiziell eingeführt. Gemeinsam mit unseren Kollegen durften wir die feierliche Zeremonie miterleben.

Zur Veranstaltung war hoher Besuch eingeladen. Da der Präsident verhindert war, sandte er einen Abgeordneten (Presidential Advisor for Religious Affairs). Wir, als Liebenzeller Missionare, hatten die Ehre, gemeinsam mit ihm Mittag zu essen. Für uns war es eine sehr angenehme Zeit. Der Ehrengast war ein sehr angenehmer und humorvoller Gesprächspartner.

Die ganze Zeremonie war in unseren Augen eine geniale Sache. Es gäbe einiges zu erwähnen, was uns mit sehr viel Zuversicht in die Zukunft blicken lässt.

Wir haben eine Kirchenleitung, die das Herz am rechten Fleck hat. Der Bischof und sein Team sind ein Segen Gottes.

Betet mit uns, dass wir auch zukünftig ein gutes Miteinander haben und dass Jesus im Mittelpunkt steht.

Yesterday, we celebrated the official induction of the bishop of our partner church. Together with our colleagues we had the opportunity to take part at the celebration.

A special guest was invited. Since the President himself could not come, he sent the Presidential Advisor for Religious Affairs.

We had honour to have lunch with him. That was a good occasion to have a little conversation. We enjoyed talking to him. He is a very approachable person and has a good humour.

All together the ceremony was brilliant event. There would be many things to mention, which inspire us with confidence for the future.

The leadership of the church have their heart in the right place. The bishop and his team are a blessing of God.

Please keep the bishop and his team in your prayers and pray that Jesus will always be the centre of the church.
